The KCSWA is focused on increasing the recycling rate by facilitating the recycling of all materials in the county.

The facilities in the area where you may drop off commonly recycled materials (e.g. paper, plastic) are the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority's facility (Charleston) and WV Cashin Recyclables (Nitro).
