Glass
Glass is one of the few materials that can be recycled infinitely without losing strength, purity or quality. More than one ton of natural resources are saved for every ton of glass recycled, including 1,300 pounds of sand, 410 pounds of soda ash, 380 pounds of limestone, and 160 pounds of feldspar.

Tips for Recycling Glass: Glass jars should be mostly free of food and other materials, but labels do not need to be removed.

NOTE: AT THIS TIME, THERE ARE NO LOCATIONS IN KANAWHA COUNTY THAT ACCEPT GLASS
